Strokes
The Strokes to amerykański zespół rockowy powstały w 1998 roku (Nowy Jork). W jego skład wchodzą Julian Casablancas (główny wokal), Nick Valensi (gitara), Albert Hammond, Jr. (gitara), Nikolai Fraiture (gitara basowa) oraz Fabrizio Moretti (perkusja). W 2001 roku zespół wydał pierwszą EP-kę The Modern Age, po czym podpisał kontrakt z wytwórnią RCA, pod szyldem której ukazał się ich debiutancki album Is This It. Płytę promowały single „Hard to Explain”, „Last Nite” oraz „Someday”.
